I've been making these Fresh Picked Rainbows since 1982. They are created from Rayon Chainette, Procion dyes, clear grain fir,wood glue and brass. The size shown is the second most popular size, usually used on car rear view mirrors, enclosed with birthday and get well cards and gifts, office cubicles, wherever a gracefully fluttering splash of vibrant color is wanted.

By far the most popular size I make, as well as my personal favorite. Like the larger sizes, this rainbow gives you a fluid beauty not as perceptible in the "baby" size. The fluttering and shimmering as well as the delicious softness of these rainbows can be hypnotic.
This size is appropriate for hospital rooms as well as offices, kitchens, hallways, windows, too many applications to list!
Of course the color-fastness and high quality built in to these rainbows makes them appropriate for outdoor use, although this size tends to "get lost" in the vastness of outdoors, unlike the two larger sizes I make.
This size is uniquely appropriate for babys' rooms for two reasons. First, a baby is fascinated by the fluttering and won't kick and fuss while it's diaper is being changed. Secondly, it's only 30 inches long, too short for the baby to reach up and grab, which could be catastrophic ( not as much for the rainbow as for the baby!)

We have a weekly arts and crafts fair where I live - Eugene Saturday Market. I've been selling these rainbows there since 1982, and have watched countless thousands of little children gasp with delighted abandon when they spot my booth, filled with these large rainbows (as well as three other sizes, two of which aren't quite as visually stunning). Whenever someone moves to Eugene, or buys a house, or moves into a dorm room, they buy this size. It seems to have become the National Flag of Eugene. I see them in windows and porches everywhere I go.
A bit too large for smaller areas like work cubicles, they fit very well in doorways, porches, larger windows, kitchens, gardens, sailboats...
